Driver Education - Teen 2282d

The AAA Driving School offers driver education in collaboration with the LifeLearn program. The full teen driver education program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction, including text materials, plus eight hours of in-car driving lessons (four two-hour sessions). Students enrolled in a scheduled class must be 16 years of age by the start of the class. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a DMV, CS-1 certificate which is necessary to take the road test. The total cost of the program is $595 (AAA member price). Connecticut state law requires a parent or guardian to attend the first session with the student. A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the program, which may qualify for insurance premium reductions. Please bring note-taking material to class. A textbook will be available to students. Offsite road testing is available through AAA.
