Mindfulness Meditation - Introduction 1657

Learn the basics of meditation. This class will cover topics including; what is mindfulness, how to sit in meditation, and how to cultivate concentration. After the introductory talk, you will sit for two 20-minute meditations. You will also incorporate walking meditation to illustrate how mindfulness can be brought into our daily lives. Chairs will be provided for the seated meditation. 

If you prefer to sit cross-legged on the floor, please bring a firm cushion to class.
