Writing in Scene: The Building Block of Story Telling 2500

Writing in dynamic “in-the-moment” scenes is on of the key tools that writers have to “show, not tell” their story and create well-paced, page-turning yarns. Learn the basic elements of a scene - dialogue, setting, point of view, conflict, mood and flashback - and how to use them to advance plot, develop character and create dramatic tension. This class is open to writers with any level of experience in fiction (short stories, novels), non-fiction or memoir.
