Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, NYC 1418

Welcome the holiday season at one of the most beloved holiday events ever - the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade has been a Big Apple tradition since 1924. This spectacular and colorful parade winds through the streets of Manhattan - in one of the Big Apple's most eagerly anticipated events. The parade kicks off the holidays with unparalleled pomp and pageantry. The scale of this event is immense: more than 3.5 milion people view the parade live along the parade route and more than 50 million viewers tune in to the television broadcast. Spectators watch in awe as 10,000 participants - including the nation's best marching bands, performance groups, giant helium balloons, breathtaking floats and the one-and-only Santa Claus - pass before their eyes. The motor coach will drop off at FAO Schwartz - Fifth Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets. Walk across Central Park by the Plaza Hotel. Trips includes motor coach transporation and escort.
