All aboard! The new Hoosac Valley Service operated by the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum is a ten-mile, hour-long round-trip train ride experience between North Adams and Adams, MA. The train offers beautiful views of Mount Greylock (the highest point in Massachusetts) and the surrounding Hoosac Mountain Range. On-board narration provided educational, historical and cultural information. Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. The first stop willl be at the Freight Yard Pub in the historic freight yard neighborhood of North Adams. Enjoy a three course lunch in a pub-like atmosphere - with apple crisp for dessert! Enroute home, we will visit Whitney's Farm and Market to bring home apples, pumpkins, cider, pies, etc. The perfect ending to your fall foliage adventure. Trip includes motor coach transportation, escort, lunch and train ride.

Cost for trips includes non-refundable but transferable (to another person) fee. Everyone must pay the full tuition. No tuition waivers apply. On rare occasions the bus company may cancel a trip due to severe weather conditions. All bus trips have scheduled departure times. Reminder: Absolutely no drinking of alcoholic beverages allowed on the bus. All trips depart from and return to the DOT Commuter Parking Lot on 475 Hartford Rd, New Britain - across from Target.
