Go Wild at the Bronx Zoo
Join West Hartford and Farmington Continuing Education on a bus trip to the Bronx Zoo, on COLUMBUS DAY. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Bronx Zoo is the largest metropolitan animal park in the United States, with more than 4,000 animals living on 265 acres. Enjoy quality family time at your own pace and at your choice of exhibits, such as Jungle World in the Wild Asia Complex, which is a recreation of Asian forests inhabited by birds, lizards, gibbons and leopards, or Himalayan Highlands exhibit, which features the rare snow leopard and red pandas. This trip includes bus, escort, and admission to the zoo. Bring your camera as Carol Lowbeer, a local professional photographer will be your escort and plans to give tips on the bus as to how to take the best pictures of the animals! You may bring your own lunch or purchase it on-site at the Dancing Crane Cafe.
Costs for trips includes non-refundable but transferable (to another person) fee. Everyone must pay the full tuition. No tuition waivers apply. On rare occasions the bus company may cancel a trip due to severe weather conditions.
Absolutely no drinking of alcoholic beverages allowed on the bus.
