Getting In: Writing the Perfect College Essay

This course is for students that have completed their junior year of high school. During the school year, it is hard to make time for one more essay. The summer is the perfect opportunity to begin writing your college essay, a crucial tool for getting you into the college of your choice. Taught by UConn English professor and editor who worked in the Barnard College admission office, you will walk out of this class with a polished completed essay. We will generate ideas, workshop your drafts, and give you personal advice on what to enhance and what to avoid. Don't wait to perfect this decisive part of your application.
