Historic Lexington and Concord, MA

On your guided tour, follow Paul Revere's famous route, as he made his way from Boston to Lexington and Concord to warn the citizens that the British were coming. We will stop at the Battle Green in Lexington, where the first battle of the American Revolution took place. We will then follow the trail of the 'minuteman' to Concord where 'they fired the shot heard round the world.' Lunch is at the Colonial Inn, located in the heart of Concord. This inn is a picture perfect stop on our route. Menu: Chicken Pot Pie or Yankee Pot Roast (please call your entree choice into the Continuing Education office at 860 561-6900), Salad, Potato, Vegetable, Fresh Rolls, Cornbread and butter, Apple Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert, coffee, tea, decaf. Concord was also known as a literary center, with a stop at Louisa May Alcott's home, where it is believed this is where she wrote her most famous novel, Little Women. We will then go on to the Museum of National Heritage. A visit to this museum will give you a taste of everything from the traditional ride of Paul Revere, to George Washington and the American Revolution, to things such as Route 66, diners, neon signs and more. Trip includes round trip motor coach, lunch, guided riding tour or Lexington and Concord, Louisa May Alcott House, Museum of Heritage, all taxes and gratuities (does not include bus driver).
