ESOL for Parents

This program combines English langugae learning at the beginning or intermediate levels with family literacy development.  Students receive five hours of English instruction, including use of an interactive computer program, while their children, aged 2-5 attend a structured playgroup conducted by the Family Resource Center (FRC) at Charter Oak Academy.  Students also develop family literacy and parenting skills during a one-hour program of organized parent-child interaction and activities.  This program is free to West Hartford residents and is intended for beginner level students.
